To be eligible, your organization is
- A registered 501(c)(3) based in Hidalgo County, Texas.
- Serving underserved or vulnerable communities with a clear mission.
- Under two million dollars in annual revenue.
- Ready to share your branding and content during the build.
A quick note
This round is designed for small and mid-sized nonprofits. Large hospital systems, universities, and national affiliates are not eligible this time. We are starting close to home, in Hidalgo County.
Fair, transparent, and human.
We review on mission alignment, potential impact, urgency of need, readiness, and diversity of causes served.
Independent Review
Every application is read in detail against the same criteria.
Scoring and Shortlist
Scores are averaged to identify two or three finalists that fit best.
Final Conversation
Finalists join a short call to share goals and confirm alignment.
Recipient Announced
The chosen nonprofit is announced on October 20, and the build begins.
